I just re-checked, and as of 11:44am ET, it looks like things are working again. Hopefully the Supermechanical folks explain what happened here. A three day outage is pretty inexcusable IMO.

This is very helpful and works great for me. Thanks for sharing. I'm still holding out hope for a pure push-alert solution for iOS that doesn't involve an email gateway eventually.

I've never used a relay in an electronic project. What type would you recommend for this use? My house's doorbell is 16V. This seems a lot simpler than attaching a piezo element to one of the chimes, which was my current plan.
